Flutter Sensei — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16-Oct-2025
A few calm words from the Sensei
At Flutter Sensei, we value your privacy as much as your curiosity. We believe learning should feel peaceful — without hidden tracking or complicated terms. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it’s handled responsibly.
1. Information We Collect
We keep things simple. Flutter Sensei collects only the information that helps us improve your experience or respond when you reach out.
We collect:
- Basic analytics data (through Google Analytics)
Anonymous stats like page views, device type, country (city-level), time spent on pages, etc.
→ No personal identifiers, no fingerprints, no secret tracking. - Form submissions
When you fill out the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide —
just so the Sensei can reply. - Blog comments
When you comment on a post, WordPress stores your name, email (optional), and IP temporarily for spam protection. A cookie may remember your name/email for your next visit — purely for convenience.
We do not collect passwords, payment data, or sensitive personal information.
2. How We Use the Information
Your data is used to:
- Improve site performance and tutorials.
- Understand which guides are most helpful.
- Respond to messages or collaboration requests.
- Keep the dojo safe from spam and misuse.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. It helps us see what pages are helpful, which devices people use, and how we can improve. This data is anonymous and aggregated — it does not personally identify you.
You can read Google’s privacy terms here:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
If you prefer not to be tracked, you can install Google’s Analytics Opt-Out Add-on.
4. Contact Forms
When you send a message through the contact form:
- The information goes directly to our email inbox (
hi@fluttersensei.com). - We use it only to respond to your query.
- It’s not shared, sold, or added to any mailing list unless you specifically ask.
5. Comments
When you leave a comment on a post:
- Your name, email, and IP address are stored securely in WordPress.
- This helps fight spam and display your comment properly.
- A small cookie may save your details for your next visit, if you allow it.
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies:
- For analytics (Google Analytics)
- For form memory
- For blog comments convenience
You can learn more in our full Cookie Policy.
7. Data Retention
Form submissions and comments are stored only as long as needed for communication or moderation.
Analytics data is stored by Google for up to 26 months in aggregated form.
You can request deletion of any personal data (see below).
8. Your Rights
Depending on your country, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold.
- Withdraw consent to cookies or analytics.
- Request details on how your information is used.
To do any of these, simply email us at hi@fluttersensei.com.
We’ll respond calmly, clearly, and promptly.
9. Data Security
We use secure hosting and modern web practices to protect any information you share. No system is perfect, but we take your trust seriously and do everything reasonable to keep it safe.
10. Changes to This Policy
Sometimes the dojo grows, and with it, our privacy practices may evolve. If we make significant changes, this page will be updated with a new date.
11. Contact Us
If you have any questions about privacy, cookies, or how we handle your data, you can always write to:

In Short
Flutter Sensei values learning, not tracking.
We only collect what’s necessary to help you grow — never to follow you around.
Your data, your control, always.
